Auglaize County commissioners approve package of routine resolutions including reappointment and courthouse step contract

The Auglaize County Board of County Commissioners approved a package of six routine resolutions at its Feb. 24, 2026 meeting, the board’s journal shows.
Commissioner David Bambauer moved to approve the resolutions; Commissioner Douglas A. Spencer seconded the motion. The resolutions were then distributed for each commissioner’s vote and execution, according to the meeting minutes read by Clerk Bobbi Donovan.
The measures presented for consideration and entered in the Board’s Journal included: the reappointment of Michael Eberle to the Auglaize County Public Defender Commission (#26-070); acceptance of a Napier Construction quote to provide labor and materials for the main step project at the Auglaize County Courthouse (#26-071); an update to the procurement plan for the Department of Job and Family Services/Child Support Enforcement Agency/Public Children Services Agency addressing micro-purchasing thresholds (#26-072); an amendment to a Youth Services grant and funding application with the Ohio Department of Youth Services and authorization for the board president to execute the amendment (#26-073); a resolution to set a date and time to convene the first of two mandated public hearings for the P.Y. 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program (#26-074); and authorization of CDW-G quotes for a Supermicro server under the Ohio STS RSC024735 contract as requested by the Information Technology manager (#26-075).
The minutes do not record individual roll-call tallies for the omnibus approval; they state only that the resolutions "were then distributed for each Commissioner's vote and execution." The full texts of each resolution are documented in the Board’s Journal and available through the clerk’s office, the minutes say.
Why it matters: the reappointment fills a position on the county Public Defender Commission; the Napier Construction contract covers repair work at a county courthouse facility; procurement-plan changes may alter how county social-service programs handle small purchases; and the CDBG hearing resolution begins the mandated public-engagement process for federal/state community development funds.
