The Board of Henry County Commissioners met in regular session on Dec. 23, 2025, and unanimously approved two routine resolutions while deciding to keep county offices open on Christmas Eve and Dec. 26.
Commissioner Joel Miller moved to approve RESOLUTION A, authorizing budget adjustments; Commissioner G. Jeff Brubaker seconded the motion, which was approved unanimously by the commissioners present. The board then considered RESOLUTION B, "Approve Then and Now," which Miller moved and Brubaker seconded; that motion also passed unanimously. Commissioners Glenn Miller, G. Jeff Brubaker and Joel Miller were recorded as present for the votes.
The meeting opened at 9:00 a.m. with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance and included a final networking update for departments and a review of the 2026 budget planning. During a brief discussion about holiday schedules, the board noted that while some elected officials had chosen to close offices on Christmas Eve and Dec. 26, the Commissioners will not close the Henry County Offices or the Courthouse on those days, leaving routine services available to the public.
With no further business, the board adjourned until the next regular meeting or upon call of the President. Kristi Schultheis, Clerk, attested to the minutes and signatures for the record.
