Henry County reviews 2026 budget; departments seek transportation and parks increases

Joe Krueger requested $2,500 for Parks to support 2026 operations.
Commissioners discussed trimming a few budget lines to increase the transportation line item to reflect service needs. Stephanie Honeck presented the Transportation Network budget and accompanying financial packet (see the Transportation Network report) and noted submitted grant applications intended to support future operations.
Presenters summarized operating needs across personnel, vehicle and service accounts.
