Salem Council approves grant and school budget adjustments, appoints CPMT representative

School funds: Council approved School Board amendments to the FY2026 School Operating Fund (+$19,250), the School Grants Fund (+$1,060,760), and the School Reserve Fund (+$20,000). The motion was moved by John Saunders and seconded by Anne Marie Green and passed with the same roll-call (Foley absent).
Boards and commissions: Council appointed Chris Yeakel as the primary parent representative to the Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) on a motion by Vice-Mayor Anne Marie Green, seconded by John Saunders. The vote was recorded as Ayes: Saunders, Holliday, Green, Turk; Foley absent.
All actions were routine approvals reported from committee review; no related amendments or conditions were recorded in the meeting minutes.
