Henry County commissioners approve budget adjustments, IT services agreement, CDBG administration and courthouse change order

On Feb. 24, 2026 the Henry County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved several administrative resolutions including budget adjustments, a one-year IT services agreement for the Health Department totaling $31,093, CDBG program administration, a $8,565 courthouse change order for emergency exit signs and creation of Fund 5015 for a Family Connects Ohio grant.
The Board of Henry County Commissioners unanimously approved a package of administrative measures at its Feb. 24, 2026 meeting, including budget adjustments, an IT services contract for the county health department, authorization to administer a Community Development Block Grant program, a courthouse renovation change order and creation of a fund for a Family Connects Ohio grant.
Commissioner G. Jeff Brubaker moved to approve Resolution A, a set of budget adjustments, and Commissioner Joel Miller seconded. The motion carried unanimously. The board then approved Resolution B, labeled 'Then and Now' expenditures, again on a unanimous vote following the same motion pattern.
The board approved Resolution C authorizing an agreement with the Henry County Health Department for IT services covering March 1, 2026, through Feb. 28, 2027, in the amount of $31,093.00. Commissioner Brubaker moved the IT-services measure; Commissioner Joel Miller seconded, and the motion passed without dissent.
Resolution D authorized county administration of the Community Development Block Grant program; the measure was moved by Commissioner Brubaker, seconded by Commissioner Joel Miller and approved unanimously. Resolution E approved Change Order #1 for the Courthouse Renovation Project, adding $8,565.00 for emergency exit signs; that motion was moved by Commissioner Joel Miller and seconded by Commissioner Brubaker and passed unanimously. Finally, the board approved Resolution F to create fund 5015 with account lines for a Family Connects Ohio grant for the Henry County Health Department.
Clerk Kristi Schultheis recorded the approvals and signatures. The minutes list motions and seconders for each resolution and record unanimous votes for the items above. The board adjourned at the end of the session; the minutes include inconsistent adjournment times (11:02 a.m. and 11:26 a.m.).
