Resident urges town action after repeated early-morning construction noise

Adrian Jacobs, a resident of Savannah Springs Drive, told the board that daily early-morning construction activity at the adjacent Pleasant Creek development produces loud thumping that vibrates his home and disrupts international calls.
"Every morning about 06:15 to 06:30... the house is kind of vibrating as he's coming into the workspace," Jacobs said, adding that polite requests to site personnel and contractors have not stopped the activity. He also referenced "blasting damage" as a separate concern.
Mayor (speaker 1) thanked Jacobs and asked staff (Micah/Mr. King) to speak with Pleasant Creek contractors. "If not, just remember the nonemergency number can be called for the noise sounds," the mayor said and encouraged the resident to call the sheriff's office if issues continue.
The board did not take formal enforcement action during the meeting; staff pledged to follow up with the contractor and noted reporting options are available to residents.
