The Town of Frederick Board of Trustees voted to appoint a slate of students to the Town of Frederick Youth Commission, welcoming several Frederick High School students and other youth volunteers.
Staff liaison and finance clerk summarized recruitment work at Frederick High School and outreach to Erie Youth for a Change to help recruit volunteers. Candidates introduced themselves at the meeting; those the board appointed included Logan Vickers, Jamison Jong, Cole Stanton, Eric Lynn, Marlon McCoy, Peyton (Payton) Stone, Brielle Holleran and Ricky Lopez de Anaya.
Trustees praised the applicants' civic interest and involvement in school activities. After a motion and second to appoint the slate, the board voted 5–0 to approve the appointments.
