State board approves two exam-credit extensions for Connecticut candidates

Samuel Naleboff’s request to extend his BEC credit to Sept. 2, 2026, was granted after staff reviewed his testing history and medical documentation. A board member moved to approve the request and the board voted in favor. Naleboff thanked the board and said he was “really looking to get it done this summer.”
The board also approved a one-month extension for Peyton Finley’s audit credit, moving the expiration from June 26, 2026, to July 31, 2026. Staff reported Finley’s audit was taken Dec. 5, 2023, and that medical documentation accompanied the request. Finley told the board she is taking the REG section this month and hopes to take ISC in July.
Board staff who presented the items said they reviewed candidates’ testing records and the documentation required for medical extensions before putting the requests to a vote. Both motions were seconded and carried during the meeting.
The board handled the extensions as individual motions during new business and did not tie the approvals to any additional conditions. The board’s next meeting is scheduled for July 14.
