The Pittsburg County Board of County Commissioners approved a package of routine fiscal and administrative items on April 13, 2026.
Under fiscal transactions, the board approved claims and purchase orders for payment, transfers, monthly reports from officers, the blanket purchase orders listed in the packet and month‑end payroll; motions were made and passed unanimously. The county clerk's exceeded purchase order report was read into the record.
The board approved a customer service agreement with UniFirst Corporation to provide uniform and mat maintenance across county facilities under Sourcewell contract #011124‑UFC. Selman moved to approve the agreement; Rogers seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Other resolutions approved included Resolution 26‑231 to set up a donation account (Account 1235‑1‑2000‑2206) for Courthouse seasonal décor donations and Resolution 26‑232 to declare various HVAC hail guards surplus and authorize sealed bids for sale. The board also adopted Resolution 26‑233 to add Jeff Daniels as a requisitioning officer for the Sheriff’s Department.
Commissioners approved an interlocal agreement between Highway District 2 and Saraswati LLC / Mata Family Trust allowing the highway district access to private property to clean fence lines, with the county agreeing to repair any damage. The board also approved the appointment of Ross Eaton to the Southeast Oklahoma Library System Board of Trustees; the county clerk's certification was signed and entered in the packet.
