Ross Selman, chairman of the authority, called the meeting to order and confirmed trustees Mike Haynes and Charlie Rogers were present. Charlie Rogers moved to approve the agenda; Mike Haynes seconded and the motion passed with three ayes.
The board voted unanimously to approve the minutes from the March 16 regular meeting after a motion by Mike Haynes and a second from Charlie Rogers. Trustees then approved claims and fiscal transactions—Rogers moved, Haynes seconded, and the board voted three to zero.
In new business, Selman said the authority needs to review fees for events that require large setups, citing examples that include moving dirt in and out of the arena. Haynes suggested pursuing events such as a youth rodeo and said the roadway serving the arena will need work to support those events.
Purchase order records attached to the meeting show claims charged to the Econ Dev Trust (EDA EXPO M&O) on March 23, 2026 totaling $1,009.74: JE SYSTEMS INC, monitoring services, $111.00; ATWOODS, battery and related items, $281.96; ACC BUSINESS, monthly internet service, $616.78.
Ross Selman moved to adjourn; Mike Haynes seconded and the meeting was adjourned following a unanimous vote.
