Huron County approves IT upgrades, new prosecutor computers and staff travel

The board approved two capital/IT purchases exceeding $5,000: Provantage for four new computers for the Prosecutor’s Office ($8,397.50) charged to Capital Improvement (#021-00200), and SHI for an antivirus system upgrade and renewal ($7,827.00) charged to IT (#046-00275). Both requests were approved by motion (Harry Brady) and unanimous roll call.
The board also approved travel for Roland Tkach to attend the CAAD Winter Conference in Dublin, Ohio from Nov. 18–21, 2025. The travel motion was moved by Harry Brady and seconded by James R. Morgan and passed unanimously.
