The Arapahoe County Planning Commission reorganized leadership at its April 7 meeting, electing Commissioner Randall Miller as chair and naming Peter Morehouse chair pro tem.
Commissioner Latsis nominated Randall Miller for chair; Commissioner Howe seconded the nomination and the commission approved the election by roll call with aye votes from Commissioners Howe, Miller, Stall/Stahl, Wolf, Chair Morehouse and Chair Pro Tem Latsis. The commission then opened nominations for chair pro tem; Commissioner Latsis nominated Peter Morehouse, Commissioner Saul seconded, and the nomination was approved by roll call with the same set of aye votes recorded.
The commission also voted to designate the planning division manager or a designee to serve as the commission’s executive secretary; that motion passed on a roll call vote without objection. Staff announced the April 21 planning commission meeting was canceled and previewed three public hearings scheduled for May 5.
The new leadership and the executive secretary designation take effect immediately for commission administrative purposes.
