Huron County commissioners on Sept. 23 approved several routine financial actions, including certification of a claims schedule and two intra-fund transfers.
By Resolution 25-267 the board certified the Claims Schedule for Payment Batches #410444 and authorized the Huron County Auditor to issue the necessary warrants. The vote was Aye — Harry Brady; Aye — Tom Dunlap.
The board adopted Resolution 25-268 to move $15,000 within Fund #188 (Early Intervention) from account 00475 (Other Expenses) to account 00500 (Hospitalization). Separately, Resolution 25-270 moved $5,800 within Fund #108 (Treasurer's DRETAC) from account 00175 (Supplies) to account 00475 (Other Expenses). Both transfers were presented as routine appropriation adjustments and were approved unanimously.
The commissioners also approved a travel request allowing Commissioner Harry Brady to travel to Columbus on Oct. 15, 2025, to attend the County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO) Energy Committee meeting.
Each resolution directed that a certified copy be sent to the requesting department and the Huron County Auditor's office for appropriate journal entries. The meeting record cites compliance with Ohio Revised Code sections governing public meetings and county fiscal procedures.
