Meeting minutes record that for 2026 there were 126 deaths overall in the county, with 26 identified as overdoses and 10 as suicides.
Commissioner Halleck thanked staff members involved in the work and specifically "appreciates the efforts of Ms. Colian and Mr. Vins," according to the record. The motion passed with an aye vote from Commissioners Paparodis, Ginter and Halleck. No implementation timeline for the committee was specified in the meeting record.
