The board approved the county's claims register and Then and Now payment batches (Payment Batches #419829) and authorized the Auditor to issue warrants, with the motion moved by Commissioner James R. Morgan and seconded by Commissioner Tom Dunlap. The roll call recorded two ayes and one absence (Harry Brady).
The commissioners also adopted a request for an expenditure of more than $5,000 for Buildings and Grounds Supplies Fund #022: a WB Mason truckload of copy paper for $22,705.20, recorded as Resolution 26‑067.
The board approved travel for Vickie Ziemba, Tom Dunlap and James R. Morgan to attend a County Aggregation Pooling Meeting in Port Clinton on March 5, 2026.
The board authorized signing letters of support for the City of Bellevue's FY27–28 Ohio Capital Bill Community Project Application seeking $175,000 to create Bellevue Uptown Park, a proposed 0.314‑acre park with an amphitheater, paths and green space in Bellevue's uptown area, according to the letters submitted for signature.
The commissioners also approved a proclamation designating 2026 as Hartland Township's Bicentennial Year, honoring the township's 200th anniversary.
Commissioner Dunlap reported a Park Board staffing and equipment shortfall and proposed that county Buildings and Grounds continue mowing the veterans memorial park; the board adjourned at 9:23 a.m.
