Jackson County commissioners approve multiple appropriations, agreements and rescind property sale

Jon Hensler, vice president of the Jackson County Board of Commissioners, moved several of the motions, with Paul Haller, commissioner, seconding. The board approved multiple transfers including a $50,000 move into account 101-0007-4012.00 and a separate $50,000 additional appropriation for contract services (101-0400-5318.00). Commissioners also approved certificates of reimbursement and transfers that together totaled $480,251.18, including a $440,917.51 PCSA-to-PA transfer for program accounting.

Dog warden weekly reports for Feb. 7–13 and Feb. 14–20, 2026 were accepted as filed. A motion to pay county vouchers was approved by unanimous roll call.
The board entered executive session for contractual matters with JCEDP Director Sam Brady and Grant Writer Phillip Buffington in attendance and later returned to open session with no action taken.
