Board approves display of proposed budget, appoints tax collector and treasurer, and OKs Providence roof change

Providence Elementary change order: The board approved a change order to remove an unused rooftop element at Providence Elementary to ease the recoating work. The change adds $4,500 to the project, increasing the contract from $434,957 to $439,457.
Personnel approvals: The board approved the personnel report, which included hiring a certified math teacher to replace Emily Mankin, summer Title I staff funded by Title I, and professional staff recommended for tenure. The board approved the personnel report by motion and the vote carried.
Executive session notice: The chair moved the public meeting into executive session to discuss the superintendent's evaluation; no votes were taken in executive session, and the public meeting recessed.
