For holidays that fall during the period, employees working four 10-hour days must use two hours of comp time or vacation to match the eight-hour holiday pay rule.
Staff said the MOUs apply to union-represented public works (Teamsters) and the LELS police admin unit, and that non-union administrative employees have the option at the manager’s discretion. Council moved and approved the MOUs for both units without recorded opposition.
