Douglas County commissioners approved a Class I license May 5 for Alpine Wellness, d/b/a Woodhouse Spa, with manager application for Ashlyn Becker.
Ashlyn Becker introduced herself to the board during the public hearing, saying she is the owner of Alpine Wellness doing business as Woodhouse Spa and was present to answer questions. Board members noted a clerical correction (the agenda should indicate "Class I"). With no public opposition and no outstanding issues, the chair closed the hearing and the board approved the license by voice vote, 6-0. "Yes," Becker said when thanked by the board.
Separately, the board kept a second liquor-license public hearing for Bosselman Pump & Pantry open and agreed to continue that matter to May 19 so staff can confirm notice and return the item to a future agenda.
Next steps: the license for Alpine Wellness is approved and staff will complete administrative processing; the Bosselman Pump & Pantry hearing will be addressed on May 19.
