Adams County IT warns of increased hacking attempts; auditor reports election preparations

The department said it uses MS-ISAC and CISA lists of high-risk IP addresses to block known threats and noted that, according to the report, no Iowa county has suffered a breach; the minutes state that Minnesota and Wisconsin each had a county breach in the last month.
The Auditor reported a voter-registration drive and a mock election at SWV High School. Tenex e-poll books were delivered to the county and staff are testing voter equipment; the Auditor also reported that the county budget was certified.
