Lawrenceburg Utility Board awards Walker substation breaker contract to Quala Solutions for $168,950

At its May 4 meeting the Lawrenceburg Utility Board reviewed three bids for the Walker 34.5 kilovolt breaker labor project and approved awarding the contract to Quala Solutions at $168,950.
Utility Director Rob Schneider reported the three bids received were Quala Solutions ($168,950), CNC PowerLine ($255,465) and Power Construction ($231,460). Schneider said the recommendation follows IMPA's guidance and confirmed the award will be paid from the electric capital account.
Board members moved and seconded the recommendation and the motion carried by voice vote. The board also approved routine claims and payroll certifications before adjourning.
