Committee forwards request to Executive Committee to seek Opioid settlement funds for Timber Drive parking-lot repair

The Oneida County Facilities Committee voted on April 13 to submit a request for Opioid settlement funds and forward that request to the Executive Committee to cover repairs for the Timber Drive facility parking lot.
Troy Huber described significant winter deterioration to the parking lot and said spring thaw has only partially improved conditions; he warned of potential vehicle damage. Lindsey Kennedy told the committee she submitted a request for Opioid Settlement funds and forwarded it to Finance and Corporation Counsel to determine eligibility. Kennedy added the project remains on the county's 2027 Capital Improvement Plan.
Billy Fried moved to submit the Opioid money request and forward it to the Executive Committee for consideration; Robert Almekinder seconded. All committee members present voted 'Aye' and the motion carried. The committee will await Finance and Corporation Counsel guidance about eligibility before any funds are committed.
