The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on six resolutions at its Nov. 4, 2025, regular meeting, according to the meeting minutes. President Glenn Miller and Commissioners G. Jeff Brubaker and Joel Miller were present.
The approvals came after two brief executive sessions. Commissioner G. Jeff Brubaker moved to approve Resolution A, authorizing budget adjustments; Commissioner Joel Miller seconded. The motion carried unanimously. The record lists similar unanimous motions and approvals for the remaining items.
The board approved Resolution B, titled "Then and Now," on a motion by Commissioner Brubaker with Joel Miller seconding; Resolution C, establishing the 2026 county employee holiday schedule, was moved by Commissioner Joel Miller and seconded by Commissioner Brubaker and was approved without dissent. Resolution D approved the Earl Mechanical Services proposal for a chilled water pump replacement; the motion was made by Commissioner Joel Miller and seconded by Commissioner Brubaker and passed unanimously. Resolution E authorized November out-of-county travel for JFS employees; Commissioner Brubaker moved and Commissioner J. Miller seconded the motion, which carried. Resolution F approved the end of the probationary period for Claude Buckmaster; Commissioner Brubaker moved and Commissioner Glenn Miller seconded, and the board approved the motion unanimously.
The meeting minutes record the motions and seconds for each resolution and indicate all were approved "unanimously." Clerk Kristi Schultheis attested to the minutes. The board adjourned at 10:22 a.m.
