The Kuna City Council on Tuesday waived three readings and approved three ordinances to enlarge the Kuna municipal irrigation system by adding specified assessor parcels.
Council moved to waive the three readings for Ordinance 20 26-10, and then voted to approve the ordinance, directing the city clerk to record it and the city engineer to notify the relevant irrigation district and update the city irrigation map. The motion to waive readings and the subsequent approval carried unanimously.
The council repeated the same process for Ordinance 20 26-11 and Ordinance 20 26-12, each time waiving the three readings and approving the ordinance by roll-call vote. For each ordinance, the motion directed recordation by the city clerk and notice by the city engineer to the irrigation district and affected owners.
There was no extended debate on the ordinances and no public testimony recorded for these specific items. Each ordinance passed by unanimous vote of the council members present.
