Justin Malone, Neighborhood and Housing Coordinator, briefed the board on process and funding: Skokie is an entitlement community for HUD and its 2026 allocation is $550,966 (up from about $532,000 the prior year). Malone outlined categories (construction, public services capped at 15% of entitlement, and planning/administration capped at 20%), the application window and the June 15 timeline for the draft action plan and final board vote prior to HUD submission.
