The Republic City Council moved through routine business and approved several items in a single meeting, including two zoning ordinance amendments and the consent agenda.
The council approved the consent agenda without comment; the clerk announced the motion carried 7–0–0.
On old business the council held final passage of Bill 26-15, which amends the zoning classification for approximately 5.08 acres at the 900 block of Colorado Avenue from Frisco Square Plan Development District Phase 2 (PDD 25002) to Frisco Commons Plan Development District first edition (PDD 26002). With no council questions, the motion for final passage carried 7–0–0.
The council also adopted Bill 26-16 on final passage, amending the zoning classification of about 78.42 acres at 1605 South Farm Road 97 from Planned Development District (PDD 1201) to Agricultural (AG); the clerk recorded the motion as carrying 7–0–0.
Council members who made or seconded motions were announced on the record during votes; staff and the city clerk will update ordinance records and the zoning map accordingly.
