Staff said the trailers are climate controlled, fully lit, include ADA access via a ramp on one trailer, and will remain on site throughout the summer season to support concerts and events. Trustees asked about cost differences versus porta‑johns and were told trailers are more expensive but provide safer, better‑lit and more sanitary facilities that respond to resident concerns.
Staff said the trailers will be cleaned and maintained over the season and that keeping them on site provides a better experience for recurring events rather than repeatedly renting for single dates. The motion passed by roll call.
