Staff reported counts of flights, training and operational use, training procedures, maintenance budgets and procurement plans; they stated there were no policy violations or complaints reported during the period covered and noted limited pending acquisition requests for some consumables and training equipment.
Council asked clarifying questions about community outreach and the scope of operations, and the city attorney noted the council would adopt the required findings and could amend policy by resolution in future if desired. The council accepted the annual report and renewed related ordinance language and policy updates by unanimous vote.
