The Clarke County Board of Supervisors on April 24, 2026, unanimously approved a hire for the Secondary Roads department and adopted the county’s 2026-27 budget and levy rates during a special session at the Clarke County Courthouse.
Supervisor Dean Robins moved to approve Res. 26-062 to hire Bryan Miller as a Secondary Road Utility Man 5 effective April 27, 2026; Supervisor Brian Sorensen seconded the motion, which passed with votes from Chairman Randy Dunbar, Dean Robins and Brian Sorensen. The resolution was signed the same day.
Robins also moved to adopt Res. 26-063, the county’s fiscal 2026-27 budget and levy schedule. Chairman Randy Dunbar seconded. The board approved levy rates as follows: General Basic 4.73235, General Supplement 2.80803, Debt Service 0.34059, Rural Basic 4.57676 and Rural Supplement 1.12785. The board’s vote on the budget was unanimous.
Auditor Jessica Graves and Engineer Justin Savage were listed as present for the short session, which began at 10:00 a.m. and adjourned at 10:07 a.m. The meeting minutes were signed April 24, 2026.
