The Lafayette City Council approved Resolution 2026-08 on May 4 to continue an interlocal cooperation agreement subsidizing the Precious Paws low-cost spay and neuter clinic.
A city staff presenter said the subsidy remains $24,000 per year with Lafayette paying 50%, Tippecanoe County 40% and West Lafayette 10%. The agreement continues the existing cost-sharing arrangement for the clinic, which staff said has been operating for three years.
Council voted to adopt the resolution by roll call, 7-0.
