The proclamation referenced the ALS Foundation and the ALS Association, and included a funding figure stated in the proclamation.
On allergies, the mayor emphasized the importance of education about symptoms, prevention, cross-contact and emergency response, including epinephrine, to promote safer schools, child-care settings and community events. The proclamation will be delivered to the groups that requested it; a representative (Kayla Sinasol) was present.
