The West Bend Common Council approved multiple routine licensing renewals and adopted its April 20 minutes during its May 4 meeting.
Mayor Joel Longert said the consent agenda included class A and class B combo liquor renewals, class B beer and wine renewals, a six‑month class B beer license for the West Bend Athletic Association, cigarette/tobacco/electronic vaping license renewals, massage license renewals, amusement device license renewals, and secondhand article and jewelry dealer renewals. He also noted American Metal and Paper Scribe dealer renewals were included.
The council moved and seconded the consent agenda; members responded in voice vote with "aye" and the motions carried. The licensing board adjourned after completing its business.
Because these items were forwarded as part of the consent agenda, the council did not call individual votes on each renewal during the meeting. The council did not record individual tallies for each license on the public record during the meeting; the minutes state the motions passed by voice vote.
