Jill said the amendment also corrects inconsistent contract end dates and clarifies the contract will end on "12/31 of this year" to make the contract auditable.
Commissioners discussed how long opioid funding might remain available and staff said the initial allocation was distributed over many years. The board approved the contract amendment to accept the revised budget and clarified that finance staff need sufficient detail for audit and reporting purposes.
The items were approved as presented; staff will continue to oversee grant reporting and the next grant round will be posted through Horizon.
