Recommendations included increased awareness of domestic-violence resources, gun-safety education and distribution of gun locks, safe-sleep educational programs and continuing multiagency review of deaths of residents age 17 and under. The team described past purchases funded by grants such as car and booster seats, carbon-monoxide and smoke detectors, helmets and pack-and-plays.
