Riverview City Council approves consent agenda, adopts recreation fees and concurs with legal counsel on Williamson litigation

The Riverview City Council on May 4, 2026 approved a package of routine administrative items, adopted a new recreation fee schedule and, after a closed-session discussion of pending litigation, voted to concur with legal counsel’s recommendation in the Williamson v. City of Riverview lawsuits.

The actions were taken during a roughly 46-minute meeting at City Hall. Council members approved the consent agenda, which included contract extensions and professional services awards, adopted the 2026–27 Recreation Department fee schedule, and approved monitoring for the city’s OPEB corrective-action plan. The council also set a public hearing on the proposed 2026–27 operating budget and five-year capital improvement plan for May 18, 2026.
