Indian education director invites Red Lake parents to join American Indian Parent Advisory Committee

“We want to thank all of you that have come to the parent advisory, American Indian parent advisory committee, to help parents have a voice at our school,” Gijic said. “Anybody can come in. You don't have to be an elected member, but all parents are welcome to come in.”
Gijic asked parents to look for a flyer with upcoming APAC dates at the district open house and to check the district website for more information. He also named Stacy Parkos and referenced the group Indigena Cause; the transcript did not make clear whether Parkos spoke separately during these remarks.
