The Unified Government of Cusseta‑Chattahoochee County on July 2 voted to renew its annual funding agreement with New Horizons Behavioral Health for FY2025. The contract packet included a letter from New Horizons and an agreement specifying annual county support of $2,508 (monthly installments of $209).
Commissioner Jason Frost moved to renew the agreement; the board approved the renewal by unanimous vote. The New Horizons packet asks the county to sign and return the executed agreement and includes an invoice to allow the county to close FY2024 bookkeeping.
The written agreement lists services to be provided at the community mental‑health center and local satellites, including child and adolescent services, adult mental‑health services and comprehensive drug and alcohol services. New Horizons’ chief executive officer, Andrea B. Winston, signed the cover letter included in the packet.
The commission did not alter the funding amount in its motion. County staff will execute and return the signed agreement to New Horizons per the provider’s instructions.
