Vienna's Town Council spent its Sept. 15 work session walking through a draft 2026 legislative agenda and flagging a handful of items the town will press with state lawmakers.
Town Attorney Steve, who presented the draft, said the list largely tracks last year's priorities and reflects the council's previously adopted positions. "Starting off is the town's position of opposing the establishment of full gambling casinos in Fairfax County," he told the council, noting the issue was defeated last year but remains likely to return.
