Bonner County ambulance district adopts employee personnel manual to take effect May 7

Presenter staff introduced the memo and said the manual "has been reviewed and approved in entirety by [the] district attorney, an extensive background in HR personnel and legal matters." Commissioner S2 moved to approve the manual and the motion was seconded by the chair; members approved the measure on a roll call vote.
Board members praised the document's thoroughness. The chair said the manual will reduce follow-up questions by clarifying policies and thanked staff and the commissioners for their edits. There was no public opposition during the meeting.
The district clerk will implement the manual on May 7 and staff said they will answer follow-up questions from employees and the public on procedural details.
