The Village of Hortonville Board voted March 5 to approve Resolution R-04-26, which amends how last year’s income is allocated among municipal reserve funds.
Administrator Nathan described the resolution as an update that reflects recent income and noted the measure would add additional income to several reserve accounts, including directing cemetery prep-care fees into a cemetery investment fund. He told trustees the resolution was intended to present a clearer picture of current reserve balances and to formally add newly available income to those funds.
A trustee moved to approve R-04-26 and another trustee seconded. The board carried the motion by roll call.
No member raised objections during the discussion; staff said the materials were provided to give trustees an update on current fund balances and the effect of the resolution would be to increase identified reserves for future projects.
