Board awards individual and small-group transportation contract to Top Line Transportation

The finance committee presented results from a competitive bid process for individual and small-group transportation services for the 2026–27 school year. Administration said Top Line Transportation was the lowest responsive bidder, with proposed per-route rates of $2.67 for a passenger van, $3.91 for a wheelchair van and $1.6925 when an aide is provided.
Board members clarified that recently purchased minivans are not designed to serve routes for the special-education population covered by this contract, and the district will continue assessing opportunities to reduce outsourced routes where appropriate. A motion to award the contract to Top Line Transportation passed on a roll-call vote with all present board members voting yes.
The contract award was approved; administration will finalize vendor contracts and monitor service delivery.
