Carolyn Morris, introduced as representing the Downtown Marietta merchants association (DMDA), asked the committee to consider an earlier closure to welcome traveling artists but said she could "work with the 09:00" recommendation and would try to “pull up the welcome mat.”
Committee members discussed parking capacity, timing, and public notice requirements. A motion to approve the street-closure and alcohol requests as submitted was seconded and carried on consent with no recorded objections.
