DPW outlines traffic-safety studies, signal options and bike-share rollout

Andrew, speaking for the Department of Public Works, told the commission that DPW recently completed traffic-volume and speed data collection in the Windover Historic District and will evaluate that data to develop recommendations for pedestrian and traffic-safety improvements.
"DPW recently completed collecting the traffic data, volumes and speeds, and will soon begin evaluating the data," Andrew said, adding that recommendations could include pavement-marking changes and updates to curb ramps to meet ADA needs.
