Board OKs $2.49 million state grant for 16‑bed Hocking Valley community corrections facility

The Athens County commissioners approved acceptance of a State of Ohio grant to fund a 16‑bed community corrections facility operated by the Hocking Valley Community Residential Center (HVCRC). The grant award is for $2,488,507 and covers the period July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
