Presenter (Speaker 8) clarified the grant covers a share (80%) of each county's proposed work rather than a single lump-sum evenly split; local match would be required for the remaining 20%. The board moved and approved participating in the multi‑county application and paying the application fee.
Presenter said the application is due in June and, if awarded, project work would likely occur the following construction season; staff will amend the five‑year plan if projects are funded.
