The Wyoming Area SD education report at the April 21 work session listed multiple personnel changes and appointments that district staff said will be processed for board action.
Mrs. Gosta read the education report and asked the board to accept with regret the letters of intent to retire from employee 20605 effective Sept. 8, 2026, and employee 9800 effective Dec. 2026, and to accept the resignation of employee 20613 effective June 30, 2026. The report also proposed appointing Gabrielle Ferner as a long‑term substitute retroactive to Dec. 4, 2025, through the end of the 2025‑26 school year at a bachelor’s plus 24, step 5 placement with a prorated salary.
The report included a recommendation to appoint Dr. Darlene Denay to conduct student physicals for the 2025‑26 school year. The education report also asked the board to include the 2026‑27 school calendar on the agenda for consideration.
None of these items generated extended discussion during the work session, and no formal votes were recorded in the transcript. Staff presented the items for placement on a future public meeting agenda where the board may take formal action.
