Board sets April 21 bid date, approves plans for Dakin Lake cabin project

He described it as a public amenity that has been requested by the community.
Funding for the project was described as a mix of the Conservation Reserve Fund, an "SC Will Bond referendum" and the Conservation Trust Fund. The board opened and closed the public hearing with no public comments and approved moving forward with the bid release.
What happens next: staff will release the revised bid package on the schedule approved by the board and return with bid results after the April 21 opening.
