Coweta IDA approves $51,900 contract for food truck park design

The Coweta Industrial Development Authority on Feb. 2 unanimously approved a $51,900 agreement with Tanner Consulting, LLC to provide survey, civil and landscape design and bidding services for the Coweta Food Truck Park, and authorized the Trust Manager to execute all documents related to the contract.
Chair Naomi Hogue moved the measure after Trust Manager Julie Casteen presented the proposed agreement and requested action; Trustee Jeremy Barnett seconded the motion. The record lists the vote as aye by Naomi Hogue, Jeremy Barnett, Daniel Beatie, Joshua Wilburn and Donald Vieth, with no dissent.
Casteen told the board the work covers survey, civil and landscape design and bidding services for the food truck park. The contract amount is $51,900 and is to be paid from account 40-5410.140. The motion on the record was: "Motion by Naomi Hogue, second by Jeremy Barnett to approve an agreement with Tanner Consulting, LLC to provide design and bidding services in the amount of $51,900 for the Coweta Food Truck Park, to be paid from account 40-5410.140, and authorize the Trust Manager to execute all documents related to the agreement." The motion passed unanimously.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved the consent calendar, including the minutes of the Jan. 6, 2026 special meeting. The special meeting began at 7:11 p.m. at Coweta City Hall, 310 S Broadway, and was adjourned by Chair Hogue at 7:15 p.m.
