One board member raised questions about the evidence that puberty is occurring earlier and asked for supporting data.
A motion to change the delivery this school year to an opt‑in model for fourth grade passed by roll call, 4–3. Administration said it would begin implementing the opt‑in process the next day to have permission forms ready for families.
