Athens County commissioners approve routine transfers, contracts and appointments; unanimous votes recorded

A Baum Law Office contract for juvenile counsel ($60,000) was also approved. - The Board acknowledged the Amended Certificate prepared by the County Auditor and authorized Commissioner Eliason to sign the CEBCO 2026 Wellness Grant Agreement. - Procurement and maintenance approvals included awarding generator maintenance to BJ’s Electrical ($4,580), approving Baker Tilly Invoice BT3420190 ($1,791.25) to be paid with ARPA funds, approving EMS part‑time employees’ wage parity with the bargaining unit, approving an ISSG Master Services Agreement for the Auditor, and authorizing Administrator JoAnn Rockhold to advertise the Athens County HVAC Improvements Project legal notice. - The Board entered executive session at 10:48 to discuss discipline of a public employee with DJFS leadership and returned at 11:16 with no action taken.
